About RoboSoftics

What is Robosoftics?

RoboSoftics is the specific subfield of robotics dealing with constructing parts of an intelligent robot from soft compliant materials. In contrast to robots built entirely from rigid materials, a key advantage of RobotSoftics compliant robots is that they allow for increased flexibility and adaptability for accomplishing tasks, as well as improved safety when working around humans.

Our goal:

RoboSoftics website is being developed by a group of enthusiastic students with an ultimate goal to become the one-stop site for the entire RoboSoftics community including Industries, Small Businesses or Individuals, University and Schools.

First:

Yes, we are the world's first collection of soft robots.

You have a RoboSoft of your own? Do you want to sell or promote it?

RoboSoftics is the perfect place for you. We will add your RoboSoft to our website and it will be advocated. If you would like to participate please read further.

Who is eligible to participate?
If you are an Industry, Small Business or Individual, University or a School and would like to sell or promote your RoboSoftics compliant robot, simply click on the link below and upload your information. Our RoboSoftics expert’s will review your uploaded information and determine if this can be added to our team of RobotSofts. Future developments:

As robots get softer, their ability to interact with real-world environments is becoming a lot more practical and effective. RoboSoftics is in the early stages of development and other sectors must invest to allow the mass production and industry-wide use of the technology. To get the best use out of them, manufacturers need to develop the technology to carry out more advanced actions and become more intelligent and autonomous. It has even been predicted that these robots could benefit space exploration, service robotics and search and rescue teams. If manufacturers fully invest in the development of RoboSoftics, it may go on to benefit a multitude of sectors.
